My name is Robert Robinson. I am a Cinematographer and Published Photographer with over seven years of experience as a producer, director, editor, writer, and colorist for 700 plus projects in the areas of commercial and broadcast production. I am a Master's Degree student in Creative Technologies. I was always into music from an early age. I've been writing and composing music since I was 16 years old and I thought that's what I would end up doing. But then music changed and so did I. My interest shifted towards film and TV, so I went back to school to pursue those interest. Eventually I earned a degree in Broadcasting and before I knew it, I was shooting, producing, writing, and editing almost everyday. I got lucky and found what I'm good at, and I think that's all anybody can ask for. I invite you to share in my experience and enjoy my portfolio.

Atmospheric Cages is a short film written and directed by myself, Robert Lawrence tackling societal issues of being tethered to things such as relationships, work, technology, and the daily grind of trying to find happiness in the things that cage us.

I shoot things because things interest me whether its the emotion on a face, to a street sign stuck in the concrete. Come along with me on my journey of still images hightlighting people, places and things from the perspective of my own distorted eye and through my lens.
